Welcome to the RPOAS

We have twelve regional Branches, covering the length & breadth of Scotland. Each Branch organises regular local meetings, get-togethers and social events, presenting members with ideal opportunities for catching up with colleagues old & new. You have to be a member of a Branch to take advantage of any RPOAS member benefits (such as travel insurance). Please note that, geographically, the Branches do not all align with the boundaries of what were the eight Scottish police force areas, so please check our BRANCHES page to see which one might be a good fit for you.

This website aims to:

• help our members across the county (and beyond!) to keep in touch and stay connected.
• provide our members with news & information of interest, including Obituary notifications.

Pages & Posts

As well as publishing content & information on various topics on various web pages, we also publish short articles, notes and items of interest on our POSTS page, in a chronological ‘blog’ style. The POSTS page features three separate filters which you can use in a mix-and-match to search for types or categories of article. It also has a text search option – if you’re looking for specific text within any articles (a name for example). You can read POSTS by going to the POSTS page – or by navigating to one of our three dedicated POSTS sub-pages – Obituaries, Tributes, News (you have to be logged-in to access POSTS).
