Pension Update

“September CPI Published. The ONS have now published the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September 2023 which shows an increase of 6.7%. As a result, Police Pensions should increase by 6.7% as of April 2024.”

Please don’t send in emails seeking clarification of this meantime. Time will tell and any further information will be circulated as it becomes available.

 

Coffee Meet

The next coffee meeting for retired Fife Officers / Staff is at the Dunnikeir Golf Club, Friday 3rd November at 11.30am.  Cost is £4.50 for a bacon roll and as many teas and coffees as you can handle!

October Lunch / AGM

At £15 it’s a bargain!

The 2023 RPOAS, Fife Branch, AGM followed by lunch is on Wednesday 25th October, 2023 at Laurelbank Hotel, Balbirnie Street, Markinch, KY7 6DB.

Members are welcome to attend the AGM and / or Lunch.

There are limited spaces in the hotel car park. Please leave these for those who most need them as there’s lots of free nearby on street parking

Tea and coffee will be available from 10.30am. AGM starts 11.00am.  AGM documentation has been circulated a few times already.

The hotel bar will be staffed from noon and two-course lunch, usual menu options, starts at 12.30pm with choices made on the day.

The cost, as above, is only £15 per person with payment in cash on entry please.  A committee member will take the monies.

William (Bill) Nellies Funeral Arrangements

Reminder the funeral of Bill Nellies is arranged for Friday 20th October, 1.30pm at Kirkcaldy crematorium followed by tea at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy.

Former colleagues are warmly invited.
