North East Branch regret to inform you of the death of retired Constable William Andrew (Bill) Stephen, aged 91 years, at Annesley Care Home, Torphins, Aberdeenshire on Sunday 11 June 2017. He was pre-deceased by his wife Lulu and is survived by his two sons and their families

Bill was the son of Banffshire Constable William Stephen Sr and after a spell in the Merchant Navy, joined that force in 1946. After amalgamation into SNECC in 1949 he was stationed at various locations, Macduff, Peterhead, Boddam, Cullen and Fraserburgh. In Grampian Police, his last post was at Bridge of Don, from where he retired in 1976.

Funeral service at Birse & Feughside Church on Friday, June 16 at 11.00am to which all friends are respectfully invited.
