Police Scotland wants to hear from the public and their partners about how they shape the service that they provide.
Latest edition of the magazine including an interview with New President-Elect of Care of Police Survivors, Gill Wright-Boulton.
At present Police Scotland holds a small stock of tunics that can be issued however there is insufficient for larger ceremonial occasions.
The legacy forces stopped issuing tunics 15 years ago now so there are not many left amongst serving officers (who are also unwilling to give them up, which i completely understand).
Can I request that you circulate my request amongst retired officers particularly from the old Strathclyde regions please.
Any tunics can be handed into myself at Partick or Keith Noel at London Road.
Alternatively, please place the garments into a larger bag and seal it, marking my name on the bag and Partick PO. And hand it into your local station and hopefully it will find its way through the internal mail.

Hello there folks, as most of you are probably now aware I have taken over as webmaster from David McLuckie, in whose capable hands and guardianship, the site has been well looked after for many years.
Like Davy, I'm an ex Lothian and Borders man, who retired 4 years ago, and I have a passion for military history.
Finally I hope to carry on the work started by Davy, I'd like to wish him well, and hope that he enjoys a hard earned rest.
